BunbunPrivacy Policy

Mini Kids English Class ("the app") helps children learn English. Our approach is simple: children's voices, learning records and personal information stay on the device and are never uploaded to any server. We have no servers and no accounts.
What we do not collect
- No account, phone number or email is required.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics, crash reporting or other third-party SDKs.
- No tracking, and no data is shared with any third party.
- Children's voices: the microphone is only on while it is the child's turn to speak. Speech is turned into text on the device by Apple's speech recognition and discarded right away. It is never stored or uploaded.
Information kept on the device
The following stays inside the app's own storage on the device. We, the developer, cannot see or access it.

System features we use
- Microphone and speech recognition: to understand the child's English, on the device. The first time, iOS may download English speech recognition assets from Apple's servers. This is done by the system and contains no voice or personal information.
- In-app purchase: the one-time purchase of the full course is handled by Apple's App Store. We never receive payment information. Purchases are behind a parental gate.
Apart from the system's download of speech assets and App Store purchases, the app does not use the network.
Character voices
The voices of Bunbun and friends were made in advance with speech synthesis and ship with the app. There is no generative AI running in the app, and nothing the child says is sent to any AI service.
What parents can do
- See all learning records, homework and the things Bunbun remembers in the parents' area (behind a parental gate).
- Turn off "Remember my child" and "Keep homework recordings" at any time.
- Delete one or all remembered things, export them, reset progress or erase all data.
- Delete the app, which deletes all of this information from the device.
Children
We treat the personal information of children under 14 (China) and under 13 (United States) as described above: it never leaves the device, and parents control it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and its effective date, and notify parents in the app for significant changes.
